Notes

“Dream Fragments” is for the delicious combination of cello and harp.

Mostly gentle images float, sometimes unconnected to each other, occasionally mergng to complete a thought. Some thoughts begin with direction but drift away, sometimes reappearing later in fragments. Surprising arrivals quickly dissolve into ambiguity, ultimately drifting back into peaceful sleep, perhaps.

“Dream Fragments” is gratefully dedicated to the glowing duo of cellist Maggie Parkins and harpist Alison Bjorkedal.
